Holly Dishes: New Year’s Resolutions
December 26, 2014

Holly here! Hope you had an amazing time with friends and family this season and that some of my party tips and gift ideas came in handy. As the holidays wind down and you gear up for a fresh new year (can you believe it?), it’s the perfect time to reflect on the last 365 days. What did you love? What would you change? What are you looking forward to in 2015? I’ll be heading back home to the North Pole soon (sad face), but before I go, I thought I’d share my resolutions for a fab new year. Who knows, maybe they’ll inspire you!

  1. Give back
I was thinking of bringing my marvelous story-time skills to toddlers at the library or the kiddos recovering in the hospital. Who doesn’t love a friendly visitor with lots of great books and stories to share?

  2. Keep in touch
My goal? Write more notes from the North Pole! It may sound silly, but with all this technology we hardly make time to call or write. When was the last time you got a hand-written note in the mail? It always makes me feel super special and it sure beats junk mail!

  3. Try something new
Last year I tried knitting. It didn’t go quiiiite as well as I’d hoped so this year—hello yoga! The holidays were hectic (though I loved every minute) so it might be nice to start the New Year off with a little Zen on my side. (Namaste).

  4. Travel the world
More specifically, travel to the most glamorous and fashionable destinations possible. I’m thinking Milan, Paris, London, and NYC for starters. Oooh I’m getting goosebumps just thinking about all the incredible fashion—the shoes alone!

  5. And of course, expand my shoe collection
Ok, you probably guessed that. Thinking about some ankle booties or colorful flats—I’ve already got spring on my mind!

Here’s to a wonderful year full of excitement, joy, and fabulous new shoes! Wish me luck on the resolutions. See you next year friends!
