We heard Mix No. 6 was getting a brand refresh and we wanted to know more. So we chatted with Kim Chacon and Ann Whisler from the DSW buying team. Here’s what’s shakin’:
Tell us about the new Mix No. 6 look—what do you love about it? Why do you think customers will love it?
I love that the product is impulsive and emotional. I think the customers will love the style and value in this line—such great price points!
How would you classify the new look?
Definitely fun but also versatile enough for all the different looks in her closet.
Do you have a favorite shoe?
My favorite style is the Rayelle—it’s totally on trend with the two-piece look. I think it’s flattering on every foot and it comes in so many bold colors and materials!
What was the inspiration for the new look?
I can’t say the inspiration came from any one place. We knew we wanted to show more love to the current Mix No. 6 fans, as well as get the attention of new fashion-forward shoppers.
Is there anything you can share about the redesign process?
Every step of the process was so fun and collaborative. We worked closely with a lot of people to perfect the shoebox design, logo, exclusive prints, and color palette. We want the new line to be an instant success!
