Here's what Joshua had to say about the location of the photoshoot:

“You’ll find such a diverse and inspiring group of people in NYC. So many different careers and styles. So we thought we’d pair the personal style of individuals with the shoes that represented them best—a ‘walk in my shoes’ idea."

And about one of his all-time favorite days shooting for us? Here are his thoughts:

"The day we shot the twins, Soull and Dynasty, was cold but awesome. One designs jewelry and the other clothing, and together they own a boutique. Their style is so fresh and cool that we just let that shine through—we really wanted them to just be themselves. Brooklyn felt like the right place to shoot. It’s got such great architecture and a real neighborhood feel."

Finally, Joshua admits he’s a Shoe Lover and gets why people all over the world love their shoes:

"It helps that DSW has super diverse—shoes for so many different types of people. That really added to the overall story of individuality and made the whole project very relatable.”
